This is one of my favorite images from my trip.
It was taken in Lawn Hill National Park, QLD.
I had about 700 K's to cover for the day, so my plan was to quickly get to the Gorge, walk to the falls, get a few shots then get on the bike and get some K's under my wheels.
As i was trying to find the walking track, i bumped into the Canoe hire guy, he told me it would be quicker to paddle and he had a waterproof container i could use for my cameras.... deal done, $20 for an hour canoe hire :D
This shot was taken paddling back towards the morning sun, i saw the canoe rounding the corner, the woman paddler was wearing a wide brim white hat, the sun was back-lighting her, the hat and water from her paddle looked stunning, i quickly grabbed my camera, hoping i would get setup before she got to the shaded part of the gorge, luckily i made it.
The water is a stunning emerald green due to the high amount of calcium in the water.
I hope you like it as much as i do.

The gorge was stunning, one of the highlights of the trip.
This is one of my earlier shots, paddling into the gorge..
