I was up at the Australian War Memorial a couple of days ago, and for anyone who hasn't visited there before, put it on your bucket list...

This really is an eye opener... I have a few photos, not all processed yet, but will post a couple now, and add to them later.... took all the photos and processed them to try to inject some sort of realism.
I suppose photographing someone else's artwork is plagiarism in a sense, I'm not sure, but I tried to do these wonderful dioramas justice; I hope I have....

Some amazing and incredible amount of work went into the making of these models.... sadly my error was not to record which of the battles these dioramas represent.... but they are all WWI

One day I'd like to see this, some great takes there mate, really depicts the misery well with your edits mate, one cant help but feel saddened and the processing makis it all loook so real. I've seen a quite a few photo series of this disply, this is definitely the best representation ....you did very well I feel. { I'm particularly taken with the first one, but all excellent. }

It is always a very moving place to visit, no matter how many times you go.

Lloyd, we were there for the closing ceremony too, and that was particularly moving, especially when The Last Post was played....

Wow!. Such a moving series well done. and yes it is a place to visit. Something i cannot imagine is what these people went through. it is for me unimaginable. Which i am thankful for as it would probably overwhelm me with sadness.
Well done.
