This is also an older photo from a camping trip at Merry Beach (South Coast NSW).
Sometimes I really like it, sometimes I don't. I have tried a few crops have a look and tell me what you think.

Great photo the bird really adds to the pic , I would go with the vertical crop

I'd stick with the vertical crop as suggested By Jacko but I'd crop some off the top.
It's a nice image but the horizontal version has too much negative space for my liking. The vertical keeps the focus on the fisherman.

The vertical crops really works for me too. It highlights the subject much better.

Thanks for all of the comments. Looks like it's the vertical crop.
One of my favourite fishing spots :)
Vertical for me too
Its one of the best fishing spots in the area, have pulled a lot of Salmon, King Fish and Bream off this ledge. I Have not fished much out off the front, always been to rough for me. There is a few memorials out the front for lost fisherman that were not so lucky.

Crop 2 the vertical gives off such a lonely emotion with the subdued colour tones and the lone fisherman and while scrolling down I saw it with the top half of the sky cut and it still looked great.
