Grateful thanks

After the two posts about the wedding and formal. I realised I do need to second shoot on some weddings. So I summoned up the courage to email my wedding photographer. It was very confronting to email an established photographer, showing her my work etc.

I hadn't heard back from her, so I was starting to loose faith. Until last night. She emailed me back. I can't be a second shooter for her, because of insurance reasons. But she has referred me onto another photographer that does take on assistants. She also wants to meet up for a coffee in two weeks and catch up. She also complimented me on my work and gave me some advice about my website.

So I say thanks to you guys again, for encouraging me to find out how to become a second shooter. Instead of waiting for opportunities to present themselves to me, I've started creating and looking for them myself. I am so grateful, and I'm going to work on my whole issue I have with myself that I'm not worthy of being a photographer.

Hopefully with more years experience and tons more knowledge I could offer the support and advice that you have all offered to me, to an up coming photographer.
