I agree but it looks way better now than when I used to live there. When you live there it's just the scenery you see every day which I guess means that you are either lucky or unappreciative depending on the point of view.

Beautiful and stunning set of landscape pictures of N.Z.
All of them are great. l like picture #4 and the snow capped peaks of Mt. Cook and the cloud formation to the right of it. Like a continuation of the snow as it drifts off the side of the mountain to the right and into clouds... :)

Those clouds weren't drifting, it would have been blowing a gale up there, as it was pretty windy on the ground.
The wind whips over the mountains from the west, and the clouds sprawl down the east side like creepy long fingered hands reaching out to grab something(or someone). Quite amazing to watch.
