Long weeknd... What's everyone planning to do..
Myself i will be off to the country side somewhere to unleash the new camera (regrdless of weather!)
What do others have planned?
Or is hibernation the main plan ;)
I really must get out and take a few pics, i had a medical procedure two weeks ago (heart related) and it has taken every zap of energy out of me, so i'm hoping i can get out, weather permitting too of course.
Is it 12 months since the last Queens birthday holiday??? must be i guess.

I hope the grandchild is visiting again, so I'm looking forward to improving my portrait skills.
Julie, I reckon getting immersed in any creative process is a great way for allowing the body to heal itself

Well, to celebrate Liz' birthday, we're having a family get-together and celebrating the birthday of our own little princess who'll be turning five.
I'm quite excited about it all. This will be the first time in quite a few years that the whole family has been together; Lesley (Yvonne) and I, our three children, their spouses and our six grandchildren.
Over these years, we've been spread out between the east coast, the mountains, outback South Australia and the west coast. Now we're all within two and a half hours drive of home.
Perhaps the greatest part that I anticipate, will be taking my two and a half year old, twin grandsons for an adventure on the quad-bike. Yes, it would be maybe 200 metres from the back of the house, up the back lane and back again. Quite an adventure when you're small. Hope they're not frightened of the bike.

Running, I am 3 weeks away from the GC marathon, so atm I'm slammed for time. between my "other" job and family. I'm not getting much time to do anything else. All the other great things you guys are up to sound GREAT!
Whatever you are doing, I hope you all have fun..Don't get me wrong, running is something I love..just not while I'm doing it :)
