So here is a shot i did a while back, and have just re-edited trying to get a better look.
Forget about the boring subject and what are you thoughts on the processing. I actually see one thing i hate.. but i will wait for replies before i point it out.. Comments greatly appreciated.
My workflow for this was very differnt to what i normally do, so i would be interested to hear everyones thoughts.

Looks good to me. Really searching for a fault and the only thing i could find was the banana, about halfway down to the left. Bit of something needs to be erased from the white background. Otherwise, no problem. Nice vibrant colours.

Herby.. thats the fault i wass talking about.. it's the out of focus rear of th fruit bowl. Of two minds whether to ger rid of it(and the ones on the other side) or leave it.. thanks for you comments.

great image Anthony...the high key background really suits.Lovely colors and
a great assortment of munchies:)...my eye went straight to the wire frame back right
above the orange...I think cloning it out would be best mate.
cheers

Yep, i would get rid of the wire top right aswell. Looks a biut more like a smudge on the white background then a part of the basket.
I know fruit has blemishes but i would also remove the one black spot at the end of the banana on top, and the brown smudge/bruise? on the front of the green apple, and may aswell get rid of the black dots at the bottom of the lemon just near the wire.

Hi Ant - this is a great shot - I too agree about cloning out the wire at the back right of the image. I like the vibrancy of the colours, and if this was mind, I would have cloned the C** out of all the imperfections in the fruit. :D
You need a stylist !! lol

My other only comment is the balance of the image. With all the open space top left I would give tha bit more room on the left to compensate. The banana is a bit close to the border in this circumstance. The wire equally close on the other side will still be ok IMHO!

yeah i think i agree with jules, a bit more space on the right, and i feel that perhaps the black border is a little thick, that's probably just me though.
great capture, it's really nice and fresh.
was it shot with a soft box with flash and a reflector? ...or am i way off ;p

Thanks for the replies everyone. Jules, thanks for your advice on the composition, it is very much appreciated and i have taken notes!
Xaiya.. it was shot with a single flash, bare and off camera.. it is actually a HDR image, merged i photmatix, and then a heap of work in photoshop after.
Vicki...... hahaha, i thought about doing that.. and normally i would, but i decided to leave it as is!! still dont like the little bits of wire :)
