Nice stitching job Alan.I like the way you have captured the whole bay, it gives it that completed look that some seem to miss out on. It has everything it needs to be a great image.

Thanks Guys,
The water and weather were perfect - some fluffy white clouds would have made it postcard material ;) Thanks for that comment on composition Lloyd - good point for me to remember for future attempts.
Waves are a bit tricky to stitch, but PS seemed to do reasonable job? (I claim no credit for the stitching - I just played with content aware fill around the edges, and the sky is a bit uneven - but I can live with it)
Cheers

The view down the small gully draws the eye well to the overall scene, love the azure blue water, looks very inviting. My only nit would be there seems to be two small dots { birds ? } in the sky on the left hand section of the image, I personally would clone them out as they tend to look more like dust bunnies.

Great pano Alan. PS5 is actually real good at stitching - even the waves which would normally have moved a bit in the next shot - I have used it on a couple of seascape panos with nearly no problems. The sky being a bit uneven makes it look more natural to me really. Did you do the exposures in manual?
Looks like a great place for some early morning sunrises!LOL

Thanks Col - I thought the comp worked ok for a pano, as Lloyd commented - (the birds are my little folly  )

Thanks Soren, yes I was impressed with the way it stitched the waves - I've seen a few panos of beaches and the waves often never line up - (details are important)
And then to contradict myself - I so seldom take panos, I entirely forgot to set to manual :* - but as you say, the sky naturally has shades of blue - easy to justify everything given enough time :)
Yes, could be a good sunrise spot - note to self
Cheers
