Took this one this morning. Jetty shot with ND1000. I was going to clone out the movement but I thought it looked quite nice with the rest of the photo looking so still.

Not long after this, knocked the tripod and ERK the camera knocked against the rocks where I was shooting. After a diving half save and a little "clink" I looked to find that the ND1000 filter now has a crack running along the middle of the filter. I suppose I should be lucky it wasn't the 24-70 that copped the brunt of it.

Really like this image and the B/W treatment suits the mood well. Pity about the filter, though.

Yep B/W is Awesome.. and i love that movement on the pier.
Shame about the filter but better that than the lens!

I like it and am glad that you decided not to clone out the movement. In my humble opinion, however, I think that the image could benefit from adding a bit of contrast.

Too bad about the filter, but it's cheaper to replace than your 24-70, no? :)

I'm glad you left the movement in, it's sweet icing on a very nice cake.

Thanks for the comments guys .. wondering if I fork out another 170.00 for the filter. I suppose I should as it did save me 1600.00 possibly
