Well, yeah, a snapshot is the best I can do, today.

It all started when Lesley read out an ad in the paper for a garage sale. Quite a few lengths of timber and it sounded OK so she phoned up and then left me to speak to the lady.

Shelves or Bed - Take Your Pick

Two hundred dollars, the lot, not too bad I thought. My son wants to build some shelves in the shed and there should be enough timber for me to do some new shelves also.

So we picked up the timber, delivered some to our son and brought the rest home.

I've been busy all day designing the shelves and building them.

But at a certain stage the bright idea hit me that I should stop the project right there. It was just right to throw on a mattress if I ever get in the dog house. :bounce:

I can beat that: went to a school garage sale and bought a heap of small tables for smaller kids; they are now three high in the shed and make great storage shelves. Paid about $5 each or something crazy like that because no one could see a use for them. Even the bloke who built the shed said he has never seem any thing like it before.

but some day I must sort out the junk on them

Looks like fun. I miss doing woodwork.

Cooky, I enjoy fiddling around in the shed and with a job like this it doesn't matter if it's a bit rough and I make the odd mistake.

Ian, that sounds like a great, innovative use of the tables.

Yes, junk is the killer! A man's greatest enemy in the shed.

Junk in the shed - I am sure it multiplies in the dark. I thought some one else was adding to it but sigh!!! it's me. Certainly no new thread on who has the most junk in the garage.

Wife claims if I spent as much time cleaning up the garage as I spend on photography then it would be pristine. I would rather spend the time on photography though

I have trouble with the Missus bringing stuff home from garage sales to fill up my shed.
