Looks like the blokes in the 1st shot weren't keen on having their picture taken.

Thanks for sharing.
I'm loving these from you and minty.

Nice set Lloyd. I hope you are getting away from the normal tourist destinations a bit and seeing the real city but be wary as it can be a very sinister place. Gives you a whole new appreciation for what "crowded" is doesn't it.

Great series LJG. I particularly enjoy the second set where the people are just going about their day.

No Scott, they did not appear keen and I actually recognised one of the words that were uttered, it started with F hahaha

Sure does Dave, yet not as crowded as other cities we have been to in other countries believe it or not. The people are not aggressive either, they are in less of a rush than in DC. They just seem to accept delays as part of everyday life and do not seem to stress about it at all. We did get right away in the city but still did not feel threatened at all except once my son stopped me late at night and said better cross the street because there were some dodgy characters hanging about at Madison Square Garden (which is not out of the way). They did not worry about us though and we were both carrying our camera gear. I will admit we did not want to hang about in Chinatown late at night - but did so right next door in Little Italy where we had the best Pizza I’ve ever had at Lombardi’s famous Pizzeria – yum! The things are HUGE and it is all about the base and the sauce, not the topping mmmm haha Then we just caught the subway and walked north to our hotel and had no issues.

Thanks guys, yes, New Yorkers are just that bit different than everywhere else.

Thanks Minty, you really do have to get there on your next trip. Allow a week or more if you can though because geez it is BIG and there is just so much to see and do.
