  • Tamron SP 150-600mm F/5-6.3 Di VC USD

Picked up the Tamron 150-600 on Saturday and wow what a lens. A little tricky to use and heavy around the neck for 3-4 hours but well worth it

I think the croc is sizing you up for dinner in #3 and is showing you, in #4, his eating implements

Good thing the penguin bubbles are at the front and not at the rear

    Brilliant half moon in #1

Looks like lots of fun ahead with your new toy

These all look good and have read great reviews of that lens. Enjoy your new toy. Really good detail in the moon but my favourite of these has to be #3, love the perspective and b&w treatment of this shot.

Well worth the money Marc. Great sharp images. I'll have to stick to my 150-500 for now though. Love the moon, so sharp.

The croc shots are for me that make the new lens worth it.

That moon shot is spectacular, I am gutted for you!
I want to stand as close to the edge as I can without going over. Out on the edge you see all the kinds of things you can't see from the center.

                Hi Marc
Can you give an estimation of the distances form the subject?
