  • Some B&Ws

The weather has been a bit average the last couple of days

First one for me. The dead trees and grass tufts blowing sideways really make it look apocalyptic.

Both for me Alan - simply because I love B&W. Is it me being a bit picky or could #1 do with a little contrast boost across the middle third where the trees and hills meet the horizon?

I replied to this earlier and now there is nothing there? This happens too often..

Thanks Greg - you could be right - it would make the hills stand out a bit better.

Here's the original if anyone wants to play

        Cheers

Ah well - here's my take on it. made B&W then levels adjusted various parts, mainly foreground, middle and top.

Yep the first one looked a bit flat to me too. Isac's processing looks very good to me but it does depend on your taste, Good subject and composition with a dramatic sky. Works well in b&w.
