                Nice to see you in the bird section :-)
                We have a honey suckle that blooms after the rains.. the honey eaters sure do love them and they are great fun to watch with their noisy antics.

                    in the first shot the eye looks dark to me but a little hard to see. new hollands have white eyes, so wondering if you are sure it was a new holland. white cheeked look near identical but have the dark eye. so I was thinking white cheeked (at least in the first pic). did well catching them feeding

                        Definitely a White Cheeked Honey Eater. I didn't pay much attention to the breed in my first post. We get plenty of them around here in Wattle Grove.
