  • Nature at Work

I noticed this couple having a great time on a tree that was near their nesting box (built by our local shire). I thought it would look OK framed so I used some of the tree trunk along with my double matte action.

Thanks Ironwood. It's great to be out and about at long last. Our local lake is a lovely spot to visit, relax and snap, right in the middle of suburbia.

Thanks Greg. I relly enjoyed watching this pair work away at the tree. They also rub their faces over the surface once bark has gone, which makes it slippery for when lizards try to get into their nest.

the symmetry works well on this one.
think it would also work with more room too. not sure the frame does it any favours

more room works for me. (as does the frame vanishing). good images stand on their own merits imho. with the more room you also get the extra 2 birds, far enough oof to coexist. but of course you could vanish them if you felt they intruded..............

Thanks Stephen. Simple clone out of the other birds can easily be done. Cheers.
