    Interesting contrast in colours. Like an oasis in the desert.

    Looks like a couple of egrets down the side of the waterhole but it's a bit of an eye strain to see them. I guess that barbed wire fence doesn't help you get closer but there is plenty of potential for a longer lens around here from what I see.

      It looks like an interesting landscape indeed. I could imagine how it would light up if your day wasn't so grey,
      even still nice sense of depth and lovely layers in the wetlands, hills and clours.

        Thanks Greg and Jo. Even with the 500mm that egret and spoonbill were a bit too far away. I'm keeping this area in mind for after some rain - it's rare to find a landscape not bordered by a thick border of brigalow scrub around here.
