I met a guy who spent a day at Coober Pedy and wasn't impressed - just holes in the ground he said. I spent 3 nights there on the way up and spent another night there on the way back - interesting place. Woomera could also have provided some more interesting photos, but I'm now hanging out to get home

I didn't like Coober Pedy either. The history, underground living and mining is interesting but the locals ruined the place for me.

Lovely shots Alan. I reckon a tree like in #2 would have looked cool in #3. Maybe a blend or edit for you when you get home.

Good sunsets particularly the last one and Coober Pedy. I didn't mind Coober Pedy and the rip out to the Breakaways is a must for a sunset.

I may have to go back for the Breakaway Sunsets, (and Painted Desert) - but not in the immediate future ...
