    D90 and Sigma10-20mm

Very average light. Another spot at which it would be good to spend a night and hope for a nice sunset/dawn.

This almost looks coastal Alan. The blue sky poking through on the right makes it seem like there's two totally separate weather patterns.

        Thanks you two.

B&W is certainly worth a try Stephen. Better use NIK before we lose it

I like all the different PS edits Alan. I even like that last one! A little straightening, contrast and hue/sat and voila! Maybe I could give start a project to write a Photoshop Action Series to replace NIK efex pro 2. I could just make them downloadable from my web site and add to them progressively as I do each one. Call it "Isac's CAN Efex Pro 3".

            Welcome to have a play.

            Nice idea about CAN Efex

But just remember how few active members we have, and how few of them actually use your actions.

But I'm sure you are also doing it for your own enjoyment/education too

It could be the start of a another beautiful/successful business....

Yes it is very quiet here Alan. I reckon soon it will be just a handful - so sad. I've had a look at APF but it doesn't offer much - just a few regulars - nothing exciting. I love doing the actions and mockups and tutorials so whether they're used or not doesn't bother me too much. I was quite chuffed when HansE did his OOB with the boat. and I know you've played with the frames and perhaps others. I will have a go at CAN-Efex but I'm a bit snowed under right now with designing some flyers for Science Week and a large poster for the new Education Room at Kaarakin. Cheers for your comments - appreciated.

It is already just a handful

Wondering how long Simon is prepared to indulge a few old blokes....

              It's been fun though Thanks

Thanks Ironwood. It's available FREE from my website. It uses a template that you just drag your photo into. It can do colour or sepia as above. Go on - have a crack! I know you want to

            Nice edit Greg

I don't know how you get time to be bored though - but pleased you chose my photo to play with

            Cheers

I think it looks equally good in colour and B&W Alan. I am hard pressed to pick which one I prefer. The colour shot makes me feel like I am there and the lines draw me into to scene, where the B&W I seem to stay more on the train tracks, so maybe on second thoughts its colour for me
            Cheers, Brad.

I remember I posted a similar shot back in (April 2014) for a comp called "Vanishing Point". Run by our lovely Jenne. Good to look back now and then, Seaslug (Greg) was the lucky winner and received a book from Phil (Ozzie_Traveller).
