      Yes it was why I took the picture. That and the fact that the rain had cleaned the air and made things incredibly clear.

        Wonderful landscape Hans! Most would like it as is, but for me I would de-haze the mountains. the main reason is that cameras seem to pick up more haze than the human eye can see. Several ways to do that if you're interested.

          I do like some haze to give it depth. I just used the Blue channel in adjust-curves.

          Great shot. I liked the original better too. The contrast between the clarity and the haze was what made it attractive (to me anyway).
