      G'day mate

I well remember this spot from our last Tassie visit ... great place where we saw someone with their horse out for a swim

Your pics - from a hi-quality drone or 'manned flight'?
      Certainly a beaut collection and I find #1 & #2 very pleasant

From a drone Phil. Not really a high quality model as they come much better than the DJI Phantom 3 but certainly adequate for the type of aerial shots I'm interested in.

Camera specs are: Fixed focus 20 mm (full frame equiv.) F2.8 fixed aperture lens. Sony EXMOR 1/2.3" 12 .7 effective megapixel sensor. Shooting Jpeg and DNG plus video.

The drone is GPS stabilized, has a range of up to 3.5 km but regulations state it must not be beyond visual operation. Max duration 23 minutes and can handle wind speeds of up to 20 kph.

Lovely drone shots Greg. The last one has so much interest in it.

Never make the same mistake twice, there are so many new ones, try a different one each day

Nice Greg. Obviously get a decent tide down there judging by that mud flat and beached boats.

About 3 metres rise and fall on average.
