  • A widflower

From the Great Victoria desert. Tried to place the flower against a darkish background and achieve a good balance in the composition, I think it works ok but am open to opinions.

Flower is tiny, barely a centimetre across so used a close up filter on the Sigma DP2, this is an area where the Sigma shines imo. Could be a fraction sharper but that's my fault, original is razor sharp. Might redo this one at a later date.

What a pretty little flower and without your info I would never have guessed how small it was. I find the orange colours behind it a bit distracting and would prefer them maybe darker or desaturated a little.
