I love snakes Alan but Death Adders scare me. Purely because they are small and pretty much always curled up ready to strike and hiding - exactly like what you captured in #2.
Might seem crazy but I'd much rather follow around a 6' brown snake in the wild than come across a death adder.

Snakes don't do a thing for me. I hate to say it but I prefer to run over them in a car rather than see their obvious beauty up close.
