  • Bearded Dragon

pretty happy to finally get some pix of a bearded dragon.
this guy was sunning itself by the side of the rd out of wollemi national park, so we quickly pulled over for some pix, hopes were low cos they usually just run for miles on me
but this one was quite content do sit there and cop it.

Lovely image capturing the relaxed state of the BD. Well framed as well. Good DOF.

thanks mate. easy to get right when it just lays there watching. took a few insurance pix in case it took off.
after that I decided it wasnt going to and decided to see what could be milked from the pic. got closeups etc, but didnt ring any bells for me.
the whole dragon it had to be. got down to eye level and in the angle with the best light. this one was stopped down to f11 to try for some more DOF front to back. you couldnt go much more cos the b/g started to come into play. pretty much midday light but somehow didnt make this seem too harsh.
