Australian bushland. We were surprised by the number of Geebung bushes.

Typical Aussie bush - lots of elements to look at. PS. this image is over 1MB. It was a bit weird because it rendered on screen in 2 layers.

Definitely busy bush! Can't really identify anything in particular.

Does give an indication of the rugged terrain though.

It was close to where I lived before and enjoyed a lot of bushwalks. I took a few shots some I find very interesting. I looked at the pixels 967by 6xx Usually about 600kb No Idea why that would change?

Would love to have had a geologist with me when I found this. Munghorn Gap NP looking for a waterfall. Used a flash to light this up and brighten the colors. Changed a setting in PS to smallest pdf and it has gone back. Sorry Sir ISAC

Thanks Eaglem It is on top of the great divide. Usually very dry. Quite different to most of OZ

Just for the heck of it I saved this one as a web image 832pix high. I can barely tell the difference with the standard save nearly twice the size.

I have gone back to "Save for Web" for shrinking my images. To keep the size under 250kb, these are the settings I use. Quality seems good to upload to forums. Max 1024 pixels on longest side, then drop the quality until it gets under 250. I actually get mine under 200kb and the image is still OK.

Find it hard to comprehend that with the same number of pixels tere is such a huge difference in file size. Stripped of Exif ?

It just works Hans. The EXIF data can bee saved by selecting "ALL" where you see "Metadata:". It adds about 3kb to the file size.
