    Just strutting around under the patio this morning. Would not take it's eyes off me. It actually jumped onto the camera - just a bloody show off!

    Always loved these guys. Used to catch them as a kid an feed them other bugs.

          Thanks chaps. The BG is a new kneeling pad from Bunnings!! Like me - really cheap but gets the job done. I took mthis with my Canon SX-50HS and you can put it really close to your subject - about 10mm!

            I like seeing this fellows as well as the sticks. Must admit to prefer seeing them in a natural setting though.
            Better a full bottle in front of me
            than a full frontal lobotomy.

              Thanks Hans. It was in it's natural habitat, just wandered a bit off course. After the photo shoot I escorted it back to the wild (about 1 metre away)
