That Lens certainly pulls out the detail.

Yes , I like the Vivitar 55 so much I have 2 of them ..
One is on the K20 and the other is on the K30 ...

        I am currently looking for the Panagor 55 , ( ? ) I like my Panagor 90mm ..
        I keep forgetting I have a Vivitar 90mm 1:1 ..
I have to use it one of these days .

But the old glass is certainly good ...

Nice and sharp. Lower angles would be good if you can get them.

I have the Panagor 55 for years but haven't used it for ages.

These are better than what I would call snapshots. I agree with the comments about sharpness and detail and also to try for a lower viewpoint.

The bee (I think) in the first tends to be lost in the foliage and I like the last two better. The light is a bit hot on the fruit in the last one and you might be able to darken it a little. I often have the same problem. These look like flash shots although the Exif says not. More diffusion on your light source or a different angle might help.

I will add that I like the great depth of field as well as the picture quality. I have some old canon glass which of course fits nothing I use now.

FD 200, FD 135, 58mm F1.2 Came on a Pelix bought in 1967. I also have a a Soligor somewhere with a Canon mount on it don't remember its focal length. Last time I had the FTb in my hand I put it in a box after having it serviced for $300.
              Working...
