    I don't think there's much wrong with these Pete, except for the last which needs a bit of sharpening, straightening and I'd remove the wheel chocks. Perhaps a few will mention framing, cropping etc but they all look OK to me.

      Thanks Jo, just one of those days were I go to bed in my 60's and wake feeling in my 90's Appreciate the thoughts.

    Hey Pete, I hope the day got better for you Mate. Nothing wrong with taking some artistic shots in the backyard, its good for the soul.

    I don't get out much, 95% of my photos are taken in my backyard .

    I felt a bit average today too - but pushed through it - well done. My back yard is a well photographed place too.

    Know how you feel, I'm 77 and have a crook heart so sometimes I' just not up to wandering around the countryside, thank goodness I have a great wetlands within a easy walking distance. Your posts are very much appreciated. BILL

      My twopence worth. I think the wheel behind scruffy is a bit intrusive. Always nice to see a happy dog.
      Better a full bottle in front of me
      than a full frontal lobotomy.

          bummer you not feeling the best. agree with previous comments so wont repeat.
          the close up dog would have been a killer shot with more eye contact. if you cant get down to that level,
          perhaps frame it up and make a noise to get the dog to look up. will get the light and look a million bucks.

            I like your selection from your backyard .... nice variety.
            My backyard is a favourite haunt of mine ..... pull up the camp stool, the tripod and put the close up lens on the FZ200 ..... amazing what can be found
