  • Some textures for your consideration ...

    G'day all

    Been playing with patterns & textures last week & here's 2 for your consideration

    1- Fronds from a garden bush

    exif= Panny G2 w-14-140 lens at 14; 1/60s @ f22; is-320 pp= replace colours & contrast

    2- Stones in the driveway

    exif= Panny G2 w-14-140 lens at 14; 1/60s @ f22; is-100 pp= replace colours & contrast

    Hi Phil, I like the shapes in the fronds but find the purple colour quite overpowering. The colours in the second are better, but, to me, it's not as strong an image.

      I can appreciate the joy one can get from playing with colours and textures.
      Sometimes its the journey and not the destination.

          Hi Phil, your palm frond is very similar to a shot I took last week on Lord Howe. (Mine has a little less colour saturation though).

            Yeah - but your has 'real' colours whereas mine is only a figment of the imagination
