Brilliant Greg. I love the colour effect. There are some pretty old buildings here and I love the clock. It looks like it can be seen from just about anywhere! Did you take the shots from a lookout?

Thanks Isac, they were taken from a street on 'Windmill Hill' which overlooks the city centre and was used in the early days as a signal station (semaphore) relay system to send and receive messages to and from the mouth of the Tamar River some 50 kms away.

Folded semaphore and flag tree at the signal station.

Thanks Greg. I remember learning the semaphore flag system back in the day when I was in the "Boys Brigade" which was similar to the boy Scouts. Something I would never have remembered without your post.

Beautiful buildings, the light was lovely when you took these Greg, well done.

If you didn't tell me where these were taken, I would have thought it was in Europe somewhere, you just don't see buildings like that up this way.
      Cheers, Brad.
