  • A few shots from the Airlie Beach Music Festival.

Spent the weekend right out of my safety zone, it was the first time I had been asked to take photos at a Music Festival. I usually enjoy taking action shots rather that people, I found it quite a different challenge. At present still wading my way through almost 2000 images. Would appreciate any comments anyone has to make, critical or otherwise. Click image for larger version

I like the shots Gordon, nice shots of the artists and the lady enjoying the music. Not something I have any experience with either so hopefully one of the more experienced will comment on these.

You've certainly captured that Northern Qld atmosphere. The posters, cabling and bar in the background sell the festival feeling.
My only concern is the 'Male heavy' 2:1 ratio used in the series.

What if there were no Hypothetical questions?
CC always welcomed, feel free to post your ideas with an edit if you have time - Thanks.

Thanks Gaz I will see if I reverse the Male heavy ratio just for you. I have a few more shots that may be suitable to upload.
