This is me and my boy Murphy. We took him to the river for his very first swim and he took to it like a duck to water.
We have tried him in the irrigation channel which is a stones throw from our front door, (True).
But Murphy didn't like that so we took him to the river and he went right in and ever to where he had to swim.
And I didn't have to be with him to make him swim he was just loving it.
So I decided to do my best impression of someone who can run. And yep it ended bad.
I went face first into the river with the boy so close to me. I thought I might have had a chance to out run him but no way.

I didn't know if this belonged in animals or what so I posted it here. All that has been done was a small crop.
And the wife took this but I put the camera to auto for her.

Yea would have been ok in animals or here whichever you prefer, I reckon Murphy liked you being in there with him, good snapping by your wife too ...

Thanks for your comments.
I thought that with me in it sort of kicked it out of the animal section, but that is up to debate on if I am animal or not to.
It was even so much fun for me to being there. Sort of like putting water on the whale so its skin doesn't dry up.
To me I like how the water is splashing way out in front of me as I fell into it.

I can see you are both having a ton of fun, look at the smile on Murphy's face. The simple fun things always turn out to be the most enjoyable with our furry friends, nice pic.
