    Winter Sunset, Moruya

    Hi,

I didn't go to the beach this afternoon, (the dog's had a morning walk) and was rewarded with this sunset from my front verandah. Moruya River is in foreground. Smoke is from winter burn-offs

    Thanks for having a look

    Alan

What a sunset! Beautiful tones Alan - love how the reflections on the river is just peeking through the trees.

I love the framing, and the layering in the hills is almost 3D.

Oh, the sunset is ok too!!

Having to put up with that every day must be difficult.

My indecision is final, I think.

Thanks everyone - the forum is playing up for me, so I'm not getting email notification at the moment, sorry.

    Yeah, it's a hard life

Got 4 bedrooms and a fire - so plenty of room for visitors

And a nice beach of course...

    Cheers

    Hey Alan,

I can't make up my mind about the river - I like it because it gives 1. a sense of depth and 2. a sense of place; but I also find it a bit bright and it draws my eye away from the hills and the gorgeous sunset colours.

Having said that though, I never tire of rolling-hills-fading-into-the-background shots! What a lovely view!
