    More damn ducks!

OK, so I took up the weekly duck challenge and visited my local pondage just before dusk.
First problem................looking straight into the sun, can I get around the other side of the pond....no .
Hmmm, how would a portrait photographer fix this..............fill flash !
Rummaged in the bag of tricks and found my experimental long range flash snoot, 200mm of 50mm pressure pipe with a grid of straws in the front end and the back end heated and squared to slide over the flash head.
Fitted the 70-200 on and away I went.

    Duck portraits aslan style!

Ok so they're not as good as the bird experts on here, but at least I had a go .

Beautiful clean shots, looks like a lovely pond area you have there.
I often like backlit bird shots, the results can be special too.
