    PSB file

This is probably not a Technical problems , well it is , if like me ya dunno what you are doing

I shot a big Pano yesterday and when i stitch it in CS-3 , I can only save it as a PSB file , what is a PSB or a TIFF

The shots were taken as JPEG , how do I keep it as JPEG or save it as a JPEG

If I only stitch a few of the shots they remain as JPEG
do I make sense or have I confused everyone as well as myself .

Well, I dunno, Jacko, coz I'm not a PS user.

Could it be that you've failed to click the final OK and it's refusing to let you save as JPEG in order to preserve your undo history/memory?

    Its because you have layers!

What you need to do is goto Layer > flatten image.

Then save the file in JPG

Thanks Guys , but after PS stitches it all together , the very next thing i always do is Flatten Image
then if I go to save it says " Untitled_Panorama.psb "
in format it says " Large Document Format (PSB)
when I click the drop down v , it gives me to option of photoshop RAW or TIFF there is no JPEG .

the images were take in JPEG

    so I dunno

Can you try and Convert the mode from 16 to 8 bits, under image menu, i think?

This is usually what my problem is.

Select PSD (top of window) when saving anything from PS and make a copy if a jpg is required
The camera & lens it's just a tool to capture light and shadows.

I think the maximum pixel size for jpegs using photoshop is 30000; i.e. if your photo is larger than 30000 pixels on the longest side PS can't save it as a jpeg.

That's true so I just found out when I could not save a 35,000 px (about 120 inch) image. Ya learn something everyday
