  • Shutter Count for Canon 7Dii

I have discovered a free demo program that reads the shutter count for the Canon 7Dii. It's called Astro Photography Tool (APT) and is HERE. Download the DEMO version.
I installed it, connected my 7Dii and it read the shutter instantly! Why can't Canon do this??

I dusted once and it came back. I'm not falling for that again!

I had one for the 60D Don't recall the name of it. The R must have close to 6500 already.

      Have you tried APT?

Thanks for the link Isac. I tried this program on the old PC and could not get it to work. It did not work at first on the new PC either, until I put a battery in the camera. It shows me a shutter count of 6,512.
