#1 - This one of the Wood Ducks is just screaming out for a caption. Give it a shot.

#2 - Closer than normal. They weren't concerned about me being only a couple of metres from them, they had such great tucker to snack on.

#3 - I've not seen Grey Teal bubs before. They were difficult to photograph because they wouldn't come up for air at the same time.

I’m hopeless at captions so I’ll leave that alone, but it’s an interesting shot with them nicely lined up.

The ducks in #2 contrast nicely with the green of the weed.

I’ve read that Grey Teal is the most common duck in Australia but I don’t see many. Pity they wouldn’t cooperate for you, seems eating was more important.

Cheers Alan. The most common ducks here are the Pacific Blacks and Eurasian Coots. The teals were very busy eating and would not sit still in the reeds so that made it difficult. I got heaps of shots but difficult to merge with such tricky surroundings.
