  • Superb Fairy-wren

One from last year that I hadn't processed. I really have too many photos of these birds but just can't resist them.

Their colours are striking Alan and you nailed this one. It's like the ducks and birds at my local lake - I see different versions of them daily and can't resist a shot or 10.

I dusted once and it came back. I'm not falling for that again!
I never make the same mistake twice. I do it like, five or six times, you know, to make sure.

Thanks Isac. I really should remove that twig behind the bird though.

Perhaps Alan, but it's not for me to say

I consider myself as a birder over all other things in this hobby (well for me it is) and I always look at it like this.
Every time I go out I want to better the shots from last time and it does happen from time to time.
So it isn't so much that I have got plenty of shot of a particular bird I just want to better it from last time.

Though in this case it would be hard, as it is a good shot of it and these like most of them are quick movers.
So you don't get much of a chance to get it totally right in camera, but I am sure I would not be complaining
about this shot in any way if it was mine.

    Well done on it.
Show it how it is and not how you want it to be.
