Little Friar Bird

I was sitting in my office this arvo when I thought I heard an Eastern Koel outside, so I grabbed my camera and went looking.
Instead, I found this Little Friar Bird having afternoon tea in my grevillea tree.

Great catch Joe. Just a tad lift in the shadows to highlight the bird. The Golden Grevillea looks great too!

Thanks, the grevillea just started to reflower again after its recent blooming, this will give the local rainbow Lorikeets, honeyeaters and friarbirds some good tucker, and me some good snapshots.

Just keep the larger birds away from it, as I found today a heap of healthy flowers chewed off and on the ground, robbing them from the honeyeaters that I enjoy seeing around
