Wonderful, Historic as well. The paintings will probably not last as long as the images made from them. Mining in the future will probably be done by robotics.
Better a full bottle in front of me
    than a full frontal lobotomy.

Cheers Hans. I hope they look after the paintings for as long as possible. In the future, they may come up with a coating that will prolong their life. Rio Tinto has 2 mines in the Pilbara whaich are using fully automated driverless Haulpaks which carry up to 230 tonnes and go 24/7, no tea or lunch breaks. Gina is making much more billions now she doesn't need drivers. My bass player's son was a computer design engineer that wrote software that runs them when they first came here and he operated one with a computer and joystick from the Perth office, about 1200km away.

You're welcome Alan. Better to see in the flesh but photos are good too.

A beaut series of images - and some excellent art work there by 'Shakey'

For those images, they are probably over-painted with a lacquer / varnish to protect them from graffiti goons as well

Cheers Phil. He's a very talented artist. I reckon a coating has been applied. I don't think graffiti scumbags would dare deface that lot. The locals would probably escort them down a dark alleyway and give them a jolly good talking to!
