Absolutely stunning Paul, not the sort of sunset that I would normally associate with Wales.

We do have our moments .... You just need a fast shutter speed to capture them ...

Unfortunately most of my impressions of Wales have been influenced by TV shows such as Hidden, Hinterland and The Accident.

Grumpy John .... Oh I loved Hinterland, was glued to it ..all 3 seasons .. and knew all the locations.

I love the British crime series, Happy Valley, Marcella, Luther, Line of Duty, The Bay, Collateral, Broadchurch, I could go, but I won't. I have access to 4 streaming services so if you can recommend anything I would appreciate it. I tend to binge watch and am running out of shows to watch.

Unfortunately neither of them are coming up on Netflix, Prime Video, Disney+ or Stan.

It actually saddens me .... as I had to sell my Caravan that looked over this very beach.

Yes the SX50 is my walkabout camera when I dont want to lug about the rest of my gear.. had some great results from it.
Re Vera, my wife reads all her books ( Ann Cleeves) in fact she has a new one out this month, and my wife says there are differences in the books to the tv series.

The TV series never quite measure up. I found that to be the case with Wire In The Blood.

The TV versions have to grab the viewers because there's a lot of competition, so they make them more dramatic, whereas a person who purchases the book has already been grabbed.

Books can also go in to more detail, TV shows have to fit in to tight timing restrictions.
