Curves > increase contrast (as I like it that way) then
Saturation > zero saturation

I will just go on the last as I really like the coloured shots posted.
My feel on the last, now for me I can take it as it is but I feel if it could have a little more light to it as I feel it has come out a little on the dark side.
Though looking at the shot the top right is light and if lightened up even more that section of the shot will look blown out.
So I am not sure it it can be done.
I am not sure if you allow this but I had a quick go at it and I think it is close to what I was talking about.

Very engaging images Phil. I'm feeling cool just looking at them. The location gives me the jitters a bit too. Were you visiting someone special or just pegging out a small plot?

Morning sea mist drifts across the island
G'day all
1)- Everywhere one looks, the sea mist is drifting across Norfolk Island ... and here it adds an aura to the old cemetery
