  • Playing with HDR Efex Pro 2 in PS

5 exposures -2 to +2 stops. I like the results and I don't think it's over the top.Click image for larger version

I just fired myself from cleaning my house.
I don't like my attitude and I caught myself drinking on the job.

Hard to tell here the end result looks very good but would it be better than your PP of a decent exposure?
Better a full bottle in front of me
    than a full frontal lobotomy.

Excellent end photo, did you do a stack or just pick the best and clean it up?

I could probably play with one or two and blend them but easier to let the HDR do its thing.

Thanks Joe. I stacked the 5 images in Photoshop.

Looks really good Isac, and certainly not overdone.

I’ve tried a few HDR programs in the past with mixed results but managed to get a couple of shots that worked ok. HDR Efex is one I tried but I didn’t persevere with it.

With modern sensors just lifting shadows works well enough for me, but I tend to avoid extreme ranges of brightness.

I fiddled with it a bit and it all worked out, once I got the hang of it. It has a lot more control and adjustments than others I've tried.

        Hi Isac

As Alan says - looks good

However ........it could do with a shadows lift esp at the top left
