  • Cabbage Moth and Bottlebrush

#1 - Cabbage Moth on a Daisy. I've named this one "White on White".

Click image for larger version Name:	0671-Cabbage_Moth.jpg Views:	0 Size:	480.2 KB ID:	480539#3 - This is "Melaleuca phoenicea". It's commonly known as "Scarlet Bottlebrush" or "Lesser Bottlebrush" It's endemic to the south-west of Western Australia.
The Noongar people call the plant "Tubada". My interpretation of that name is what I yell out after the "Eagles" get a floggin'. "Too Bad Aye!"
The scarlet bottlebrush flowers in spring and summer.
