    Hospital - emergency chopper landing at night

    G'day all

    Emergency chopper at hospital landing strip - coming late at night with the hospital ambulance just out of sight while the chopper settles down

    Great action shot Phil. Good shutter speed for the rotors effect. Do you have to pay a "Toll" for their services?

      I bet that this service has saved a few lives. I know my brother is alive today because of a helicopter service in Italy which got him to a hospital DOA in minutes where they fixed him up over a couple of months.
      Better a full bottle in front of me
      than a full frontal lobotomy.

        This was shot outside Pt Macwuarie hospital while 'the boss' was up there for chemo stuff
        We were in accommodation alongside the hospital for 4nights x 4 weeks - and the chopper was in and out regularly. One night it arrived 3 times!
