  • Mars eclipse this morning

4.56am. Frosty. I had set the alarm but because I was getting up early I kept waking up and was lying awake by 4.40 anyway. It was not visible from Australia, just Europe and North America.

This photo was taken about a minute before the moon reached Mars. Click image for larger version Name:	2022-12-08-0456_9-CapObj-1.jpg Views:	4 Size:	55.7 KB ID:	495816
This was taken an hour later after Mars had come out.

Special to see and a great and unusual photo. Good work.

Ditto with Alan. Just looking at our warped galaxy. An image taken with the new space telescope is causing some headscratching.
