    I Shoot A Canon

    Web: isacimages.com / My Gear
I dusted once and it came back. I'm not falling for that again!
I never make the same mistake twice. I do it like, five or six times, you know, to make sure.

    Hi Isac

My screen is resizing them to fit the width as I resize the browser - so it does not seem to make any difference

The size issue is not browser related Phil. The problem is that vBulletin is resizing uploaded images which are within the forum's allowed perimeters, One example is : Upload [ 1200 x 800 (278 kb) ]. When it's downloaded the size is [ 1089 x 726 (103 kb) ]
It's getting resized for no apparent reason so I'm trying to sort it out with the gurus at vB. Little joy to date.

When I post any image on the longest side it is always a 1000 and then the computer get the other side to what fits.
I was on forums where it was 1250 and then like this one which is (I can't remember) but I was on one which was a 1000 and I thought that was an easy number to remember.
And since then I have just made all my shot to that with the resolution of 40 what ever it is.
And this seems to fit all places and I don't have to think. But when posted they still come out as the size of these ones posted here.
Show it how it is and not how you want it to be.

Good on yer mate ... Ralph - all my images to the internet are at 1000 px max
I have only had one (that I know of) image copied commercially by someone - but at 1000 px they're not going to get much beyond a screen pic
