The Run Off

Hi,

Today's beach walk shot. I scouted this position yesterday and thought it would work at high tide, which luckily, was at sunset. The beach sloped slightly backwards for several 100 meters to the north and south, so there was a very shallow expanse of still water on either side of me, which every now and then was topped up with gentle waves. However, that expanse of water had to exit somewhere, and that's the middle shot. I couldn't work out how to show it without doing a pano - which, with all the wave motion, would have been neigh impossible.

Not sure it works, but since I've done it now I might as well post it. Things we do late at night ..

These are very interesting shots and you've done them well.

Well thank you - I thought about posting a couple of them in the higher traffic area of Landscapes, but decided to go this way instead for a change, so I'm glad you found them here and saw something in them.
