Another night time long exposure in my minimalist endeavors. Not sure if it counts as minimalist, please share your thoughts.
    Taken at 8:49 PM
    Canon R6 w Canon RF 24-240 @ 26mm
    F10.0 300S ISO 100.
    Manual settings and Manual focus.

It's 100% minimalist John. 1 small object in the frame that grabs the eye as soon as you view it and the path leading you to it is a bonus. Beautiful colours too. 5 minute exposure makes it look like broad daylight - well done. For fun, I did a curves layer (155,75) and Wow! looked amazing.

Thanks Isac, the bird life in my immediate area is very scarce indeed so I have ventured out on a different path so to speak.

It does appear that a different path can reinvigorate the senses and get good results by doing so. Didi you try the curves adjustment?

Haven't tried the curves adjustment yet, but I will.

I like it John. It does remind me of the windows screen background from a few versions age.

Thanks Alan. I may just use it as my screensaver/desktop image.

I like it as well. I also keep looking in the grass thinking I'm going to see something.

I had already applied curves on this image, once in ACR, and a curves layer in Photoshop.
Where/how did you apply the 155,75 figures?

          ACR.

All you need do is add a curves adjustment layer, click anywhere on the diagonal line in the graph and the Input and Output boxes appear - just enter the numbers and you're done.
        Working...
