Experimenting with IR (Infra Red)

Many years ago I purchased a Hoya R70 infra red filter to use with my 7D. I lost interest in it because of the long exposure times needed to achieve a half decent exposure. The other day I decided to try it out using my R6 mirrorless and to my surprise I was able to achieve reasonable hand held images even though quite high ISO settings were required

#1 This is an enhanced noise reduction image with the profile set to Infra Red in ACR.

It's very slippery and there are no handrails to grab hold of.

I don't see images one and two but like #3 it is quite striking. Remember wasting some money on a roll of infra red film years ago. Don't think I kept an image.
