Multiple (23) long exposure (5 Seconds) images of the Flinders Street rail yards. Processed in Photoshop. Don't look too close the camera moved slightly on a couple of shots. I've done a bit of masking to cover up most of the unaligned sections.

Bit of a shame no trains down the middle of the image John, but your masking looks good

Thanks mate, I waited around for about 45 minutes for a train to pass down the middle track, then packed up and went home.

Not sure that would be possible with an overhead shot. Would have a better chance of achieving that result with a side on shot.

Perhaps a still shot and then overlay it and reduce the Fill and add some field or gaussian blur?
